Welcome to our highly anticipated Hockey Skills Camp in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan taking place from August 7th to 11th, 2023! 

 

We are thrilled to feature renowned coaches Rob Galatiuk and Klem Kelgar, former LSSU Lakers players, as well as accomplished professionals and international level athletes.

CAMP REGISTRATION: $375

Camp Tentative Schedule

This camp will consist of 9 hours of on-ice training and 4 hours of off-ice training. 

The players will skate for 2 hours each day, Monday - Thursday,  with a 1 hour off-ice training. Friday will consist of a one-hour scrimmage.

Monday - Thursday:

Check-In: 8:30 a.m.

On-Ice Session: 9:00 - 9:50 a.m.

Off-Ice Session: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

BREAK

On-Ice Session: 2:00 - 2:50 p.m.

 

Friday:

One-Hour Scrimmage

9:00 - 9:50 a.m.

  • Skating: proper stance, stride, turns, crossovers, and transitions

  • Puck handling: stick handling, shooting, and passing

  • Body positioning: balance, leverage, and angling

  • Dry Land Training designed to quicken and strengthen skating stride and improve balance and mobility

Registered players will receive a detailed schedule via email one week prior to camp start date.
